Hello, I am Ian Dixon aka Danapriya (my Buddhist name).
I am now practicing acupuncture with the appropriate protection in place concerning Covid19. Please see below for full details.
I am trained in both styles of Acupuncture; Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture. Therefore I am able to comprehensively diagnose and treat whatever is going on for you, whether Emotional, Psychological or Physical. Such as Anxiety, Insomnia, Depression, Pain, Arthritis, Blood Pressure, Grief, Loneliness, or another condition.
Do contact me and we can talk about how Acupuncture can help you at this time.
I track any sign or symptom back to the root cause and treat the root. Like a plant, if we just polish the leaves nothing much changes, but if the roots are nourished then healing takes place in Mind, Body and Spirit.
I graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in 1995 and have been on a Continued Professional Development programme since.
Call me for an informal chat or come and see me for a 20 minute free consultation, to see if Acupuncture is for you and that I am the practitioner for you.
I want to help you feel ‘Like Spring has come on a cold winter’s day’ (Ryokan).
My clinic is in Deal, Kent.
The first appointment is one and a half hours and costs £75, then each appointment after is for up to one hour and cost £50
Comments from clients
I initially met Danapriya at one of the mindfulness courses that he leads in Deal. I was going through a time of intense self-reflection, and really appreciated his approach. Once the course ended, I continued to see Danapriya 1:1 for talking therapies/life guidance sessions. We cover all sorts of topics, whatever is on my mind he’s happy to discuss and help me navigate in a thoughtful way – whether big philosophical life questions, practical career challenges, or day to day life management, coping with stress, interpersonal conflict and decision making…the list goes on. I also see Danapriya for acupuncture – which has been found to have calming and hormonal balancing effects. I very much value Danapriya’s world view and life wisdom, and am very happy to have found him, especially so close to home.
